This is a fast fun Sailing Scene built and easy to sail 7m sportsboat with excellent pedigree. Recently coming 2nd in the sportsboat division of Magnetic Island Race Week 2024 behind Julian Bethwaites DON'T PANIC and ahead of a Melges 24, Thompson 870 and Lightning 8. We kept pace with the Melges and Thompson upwind and in the light we were neck and neck under kite. In the heavy we were faster than all except DON'T PANIC.

August 2024

Keel and Rudder - glued, filled, faired and wetndried. Smooth and fast

Hull - filled, faired and wetndried. Smooth and fast. 

Mast - glued and rivitted track to mast. Perfect. Carbon mast. Aluminium spreaders. Aluminium boom. 

Standing rigging - no idea of age. Looks good. No issue racing. 

Running rigging - new main and tackline. Good headsail, cunningham, vang, masthead/fractional, prodder out/in

Sails - full set racing - Evolution main, headsail, masthead assy. Full set training - Doyle main, headsail, masthead assy. Large Quantum lightweight masthead assy. Doyle Fractional assy. 

Engine - Tohatsu long leg 3.5 x 4 stroke in excellent condition

Raymarine T075 Race Master System - with speed, depth, line, compass, timer/countdown

Mooring lines, fenders, hatch cover and storm board

 

The Trailer is a single axle Marlin with torsion axles. Axles brand new (September 2024) as well as new beams, new brakes, lights etc. In excellent condition.

 

Will deliver down east coast for cost of petrol and accommodation
